  • I don't... hopefully this whole situation gets sorted soon

  • Really wanted to post :lenin-sure: but noooo

  • Somehow, Borderlands 3 was even more aged than BL2 when it came out. The gameplay keeps getting better, but the dialogue keeps getting worse, somehow.

  • Deeply stupid, but I genuinely think the Empire is doing the most harm to itself and its soft power by doing shit like this.

  • I have a bit of a soft spot for BL1, it's very playable to this day and has a lot that seemed to click into place. I definitely think 2's improved gameplay and endgame went a long way forward, but 1 has a sort of crunchy feel that's still quite fun.

  • Happy birthday, comrade!

  • Finished the base game of GTA IV and the base game of Alan Wake 1. Gonna go through their DLCs now before heading into Control, and then Red Dead Redemption!

  • Of course, it's the same thing liberals always do, feign support and then take it away when convenient.

  • Beautiful

  • Saw one say it's time to hibernate for 4 years, which is a bit more honest than I'm used to to be honest.

  • I agree, I was just trying to address a more charitable reading of it that is less detached from reality IMO. It would probably have been better to acknowledge that in my comment though.

  • I'd say it's both. It's not impossible to have a perfect grasp of theory without proletarianization and suffering, and it's not impossible to have a clear grasp of what needs to be done and why without theory. However, for the vast majority, you must have theory and practice. Theory is a tool that makes practice easier and more effective, it identifies the sources of problems and tells you how to think about solving them. To avoid theory is a mistake, that's fighting a terrible and great enemy while handcuffed or blindfolded. Not impossible, but unnecessarily difficult.

If you don't learn the lessons our predecessors gave us and spent their lives figuring out and testing, do you really care?

  • Bit idea: OurPillow as a Communist competitor to MyPillow

  • So far it's the explanation that makes the most sense, though I don't discount the possibility of being part of a genuine purpose.

  • I'm more and more convinced of the theory that Imperial decline is accelerated because only its builders understood it properly, the successors genuinely believe the justifications given by the builders and thus self-sabotage it. What a timeline.
