When this happens, be certain to record and remember any identifying characteristics (tattoos, height, weight, hair color, hair length, clothing, etc...) of the kidnappers. Spread the info far and wide. They're wearing masks and hiding their identities because they KNOW they're doing something wrong.
And the same facial recognition tech that they use against citizens also works against them. They cover their faces because they don't want to be doxxed and held responsible for their actions.

There's a number of states where, if you're being stopped, the officer must produce some kind of proof of their status as a law enforcement officer if asked. Ofc, that was before we were in the dictatorship. Now, cops get the choice between identifying themselves and possibly getting their family members to launch a GoFundMe page.
You're looking at it the wrong way.
It doesn't matter who's on the right side of the law. They don't care if they lose this case.
They're trying to make ordinary citizens fearful of speaking up or calling them out. When they come to take your neighbors away they want you to look the other way because you don't want to get involved.

As is often the case, the behavior they are telling you you MUST not do, and they will NOT stand for and you definitely will suffer for it, is what they're afraid of.
At some point the public opinion will hit critical mass at the street and individual level. Maybe (and maybe not). There is a reason they always want to get out of the area as soon as possible, and have stopped wearing identifiable uniforms.
I have no idea whether a group of ICE agents getting mobbed by an angry crowd that outnumbers them 20-to-1 will be a good thing or a bad thing, if things do reach a point where that happens. I legitimately don't know. It's definitely better than no one doing anything until they've escalated to filling up all these detention centers they've been building with people who mentioned "protest" on Facebook. Also, certainly, them threatening retaliation against people who are showing signs in that direction is a real and dangerous threat.
I'm just saying there is a reason they are calling out judges and bystanders as the threat that they MUST shut down. It's because it is by far the most easy and reliable undoing to their power. It means a lot more than the Supreme Court, honestly, at the end of the day.
They're trying to normalize it. And they will succeed if it happens enough time and people don't do anything against it.

Any prosecutions should fail because there is no mens rea (intent) which is a requirement under criminal law (until the judicial branch is fully captured). The purpose right now is to send a signal that they are above the law and chill anyone attempting to stop them.

Downvoting for the format. Need more info on each individual "news" item claims and sources. Literally no other news source is reporting this ICE statement, though it's very believable.
Not OP, but I did find this from a CBS affiliate which includes a statement they were given by ICE which seems to be the same.
"ICE and federal law enforcement partners coordinated a lawful arrest with the Albemarle General District Court of an illegally present, violent Honduran alien with multiple arrests for assault and battery as well as an outstanding order of protection against him. Two bystanders unsuccessfully attempted to obstruct enforcement efforts, and the U.S. Attorney's Office intends to prosecute those individuals.
Regrettably, the Albemarle County Commonwealth's Attorney is posturing for the media and attempting to disgrace the brave officers who made the lawful apprehension in coordination with his office, in an attempt to gain political capital.

ICE has zero authority to prosecute anyone anywhere. The same way that police forces do not have the ability to prosecute anyone, anywhere.
