It was just a quick blurb about how it's not okay for students or the professor to discriminate based off race, ethnicity, gender, or sexuality.
I was looking at the syllabus for each of my classes this semester
They took out the "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion section off all of them. Like I know you could make the argument that these policies are just for show, but it just feels weird that even in higher education, where you're naturally going to have a wide selection of students from different backgrounds, are getting rid of them.
18 and 22. Both college aged young adults. Such a terrible age gap.
Music the past few years has genuinely been really good. Expand your tastes, go look for new music, and don't base everything off what's popular or on the radio.
Yeah even though I'm scared I'm still going to try. Thanks
ngl I'm scared of how the next few years will look
First off, my last semester of college is this spring, so after that I'm officially going into the workforce. I haven't been able to find a job the last year an internships in my major (biology) have also been hard to come by, which makes it harder to find a job right after school. I do have some field work experience from a class I'm taking right now and I'll gain more from the research project I'm doing with a professor next semester. But even so I'm not doing the best financially right now and I'm scared that's how I'll reside.
Also with the results of the current election. I know that we were fucked if Kamala won but like with Trump whatever way he's planning to fuck all of us over will happen faster and since it looks like most of the American people wanted a candidate who would let them pretend like that wouldn't be the case, it's obvious that we're not prepared for whatever comes, which is what scares me more. I'm trying not to be a doomer but it's hard.
