I've become better at talking to people. Overcoming my past trauma and social anxiety has made me so much happier and at peace. Now I'm on the path to fostering meaningful connections with people who help me grow as a person, and hopefully the other way around as well.
Hey guys, what are your thoughts on the existence of extraterrestrial life and the potential involvement of governments in concealing or studying such entities.
They also have to deal with Wendigos. Not sure if slow internet or a horror beyond human imagine is scarier
It was the in-game alias of a very skilled swordsman and skirmisher in the MMORPG called Vindictus. We became good friends and played regularly for several years, conquering the toughest horrors, but one day, he never logged back on. So I started using his username to honor his kindness and prowess with the blade. If you're reading this, just remember that everyone in Lost Paradise [LP] remembers you!
I like the convenience of the 2 factor being included with the paid version, and password autofill with TOTP seems to work much more often than Bitwarden (S23 Ultra, latest version of Android) So with that being said, I really like Bitwarden, but prefer 1Password for the convenience.
Sundar Pichai needs to go. In his tenure there has lead to more bad decisions than good, and now their show horse Google Search, is beginning to stagnate.
They need to turn things around fast if they want to keep their reputation and marketshare from dwindling.
I've done pretty well so far. Only subscription I have is for Spotify and 1Password.
Cut off one head of the Hydra and another two grow in its place.
Gshocks are the ultimate watch, and honestly one of the most reliable things someone can have for everyday use
I'm an Android user, but I just wanted to say thanks for treating both platforms equally 🙏
That honestly sounds like a great balance! Plus, you have some privacy with your health data with that offline Amazfit, so some goons won't sell that private info to some corner of the internet.
I really do relate to your reasons. I had been using a smartwatch from spring 2020 until last week, and while it was great for some fitness tracking, it ended up giving me health anxiety due to the constant feeling of 'needing' to meet all my fitness goals daily, and the notifications buzzing my wrist regularly breaking my concentration during work, or for slower times of the day such as sitting on the couch with my headphones and just focusing on the music.
Citizen FTW! Their Eco Drive Watches are the real deal. Accurate, reliable, won't break the bank. Citizen really do live up to their name as a company, they've created a practical and economical slew of products that appeal to the everyday working man. Plan on getting one myself soon!
I see the appeal, having home automation on your wrist would be very convenient indeed.
Happy for you! If wearing a regular watch makes you feel better, then the value of that far outweighs any other option.
Hahaha, fair enough. If I was Swiss then it would be an easy choice for me as well.
Would love to know what you guys think and your reasoning for it. I'm starting to see a lot of Apple Watches/Fitbits/Galaxy Watches in my area compared to more traditional timepieces.
I may move to a pixel 8 pro instead, was hoping it was fully flat
DAPS have better internal hardware for audio, and it provides a distraction free listening experience, but is it worth paying a premium for one? Especially when there are more modern solutions out there such as portable Bluetooth DAC/Amps such as the Fiio BTR7 or Qudelix-5k paired with your smartphone. I'd love to hear your thoughts!
If I buy the best that either company has to offer (Pixel 8 pro or S23 Ultra)
Which one, in your opinion, would be the best Android experience and why? Would love to know your thoughts.
Just had a similar experience with my birthday. Reminded me that I can just buy stuff for myself, so the excitement we had as kids isn't there lol.
Duality - Set It Off
I am good, I am evil, I am solace, I am chaos, I am human, and that's all I've ever wanted to be.
This is the motto for the whole duality album. This tells the listener to not hide who you are. Be comfortable in your own skin be you, let the song show you how to accept yourself.
I'm thinking about making a return from Garmin in the near future with Samsung announcing the Galaxy Watch 6 making a return with the ever-so-popular rotating bezel, and Google is now focused on their own Pixel Watch. For people who are currently using a WearOS device, what are your thoughts on the current state of the platform as a smartwatch and fitness tracker as of mid 2023?
I haven't noticed performance issues or any battery drain on my S22 Ultra
My friend recently went on a trip into the mountains for some hiking, they took some photos that made me ask if it was from a DSLR camera, but it was just from a Pixel 7 Pro. Amazing how far phone cameras have come.
Everyone has their preferences, I would love to hear why you guys prefer using Android!
I'm in a dilemma, I think ownership of media is important, but the convenience of Spotify and the algorithm of new music that it suggests has helped me find amazing artists that I wouldn't have heard of otherwise.
Fellow sailors, what are your thoughts, and how do you personally listen to music?
I’ll start:
Headphones: Sennheiser HD 600, Hifiman Arya V2, Letshuoer S12, Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk, Sennheiser IE 600
Interface: JDS Labs Atom+ Dac and Amp stack, Qudelix-5K
Looking forward to the stuff ya’ll use!
