I was 19 when Obomna became president, and I remember being kind of stoked about getting universal healthcare (because I was a politically unaware ignorant dummy). When the ACA passed and I went to sign up for healthcare, I remember seeing that I still couldn't afford to go to the doctor and was like, "What the fuck? This is bullshit."

There can be a point there sometimes especially if being eurocentric or if you think of yourself as a mideval to early modern guy in Europe. France was the America of the Middle ages to early modern period and then had some cool ups and downs with revolutions and Napoleons. The Pope lived there during the times that being the pope was the biggest deal. France had things really going for a good while.

"eliminate the deficit" is just coded language for "less money for poor people", and Obama was never about universal healthcare that's straight up revisionism.
Not only was he not for a universal healthcare, his big goal was Social Security reform. Hence why he volunteered to cut Social Security payments as part of his Grand Bargain.
This meme should have all the republicans say "more money for rich people" while all the democrats say "less money for poor people".
Ironically, Hillary campaigned for universal healthcare in the primary when she ran against Obama, while Obama was campaigning for a public option.
