Such a thin-skinned creator with weirdly obsessive fans. Everything about her online presence makes me uncomfortable.
- It's also just not good art. The style is extremely bland, and the humour just... Isn't humorous.

  Weird to say that when the artist has made the art the key point in the drama. The 'art' kind of is the drama. Especially the debate on if roughly drawn comics that don't have punch lines even are art. The way I feel about them is as if they're AI slop, but done by a person. Most of them don't even make sense, but get so much attention.

  I can’t speak to your town, but the leftist orgs in my area are organizing a number of efforts to help feed & house people, along with any number of events to improve the area for the people living in it. They’re also working on the political side to push for ranked-choice voting, challenging voter suppression efforts, etc.
  Just because you’re not paying attention doesn’t mean they aren’t putting in the work.

We live in an era where media with certain themes always seem to get an absurd amount of negativity, with plenty of dumbasses to blindly follow it without ever thinking to stopping and thinking about where a lot of it is coming from.

It is sad that so many in this country do not understand that millions of citizens absolutely, deliberately, and with a full understanding want to sink that boat. Those same people never ask why, they dismiss their concerns with "they are just too stupid to understand."

I don't understand the point of these paper-thin political comics. They don't make me laugh and they don't have a real message.

  I don't think a comic has to be funny per se. That's why I also pointed out it has no substance. But yes preaching to the choir is a good way to describe what's going on here as well.
- Comics don't have to be funny, they can be used to show a message/point of view. A great example I can think of is "Maus".
  And if you don't like/get the message, that's fine. To each their own.
