The Bluesky OP didn't explicitly say the photo is real. Now I wonder if that story was an inspiration for a fake photo that was staged or AI or whatever. The account is small and doesn't do like-grabs. But there can always be a first time.
Someone else in the thread mentioned that around NOLA a lot of people lose hats because they put them on gators thinking they look funny, and the gator just takes off with the hat on.
