But as we know from other franchise films that tried to subvert their mythos a tad, or at least deliver some narrative swerves, as “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” did, fans sometimes don’t want bold swings.
Weird words to describe completely butchering the hero of the previous trilogy.

Many won't know.
The first one was dances with wolves in space, but visually beautiful. Second was literally unwatchable for me. I paid to watch it, and had to stop less than 15 minutes in. Just awful.

Avatar 2 was like a 50 minute movie and 2 hours of swimming.

Haven’t been a fan of what we’ve been offered so far, I say fuck it all up!

- Hello, I greatly enjoyed both movies, got any other original thoughts to share? Got plenty of time until the third movie
  
  I really tried with Avatar, but the CGI is too cartoony, the second one is the worst because they have billy the human boy interacting with these cartoon characters for half the movie which just makes the uncanny valley deeper.
  Its not looking unreal that's the problem its how hard it tried to be realistic and still failed.
- The fact that he is 70 and takes 5 years or more to make these. I mean what year did the first one come out? He sure he will live to make all 5 and what will be the end result. I mean I saw first and said not bad. But have not seen nor plan to watch the sequel because I lost interest in waiting for a sequel.
