Comedian John Mulaney brutally roasts SF techies at Dreamforce
"Let me get this straight," he said. "You're hosting a 'future of AI' event in a city that has failed humanity so miserably?"
Mulaney then shared an anecdote about how he and his son, who is nearly 3, like to play baseball in their front yard.
“We’re just two guys hitting Wiffle balls badly and yelling ‘Good job’ at each other,” he said. “It’s sort of the same energy here at Dreamforce.”

“If AI is truly smarter than us and tells us that [humans] should die, then I think we should die,” he said, looking out to the crowd from center stage. “So many of you feel imminently replaceable.”
“You’re a VP of customer success?” he asked another attendee. “Congratulations on your position that did not exist five years ago!”
Is all of his comedy this amazing? Because I'm going to have to start watching his specials.
It's good. His older stuff is "more friendly" or whatever, but I still enjoyed it. After his rehab stint, he has been more like this. His kids shows are goodish, but a different flavor than roasting tech bros.

After spending ~15 minutes searching 5 different search engines the only clip of the event I found was a 39 second clip posted on tiktok by an attendee that had nothing to do with the roasting part.
