  • Do you have the SponsorBlock add-on installed? Most videos have user-submitted sections that it lets your skip. Also, a highlighted part.

  • When they ask to install Linux for them
  • (Wait, I should actually install Ventoy.)

  • When they ask to install Linux for them
  • I need to get more USB drives in my bag. For no reason.

  • Whats your favorite color of light, why?
  • As I wrote this, I didn't read that it was about light... #fca4a4 sweet pink, kinda like salmon but more red on the Hue slider. I use it as my brand color! Even though I don't really use it much.

  • Zen Browser - A very nice, Firefox-based, clean UI browser

  • Where/how to efficiently download music in bulk?

I have a relatively large collection of songs I downloaded from YouTube, one-by-one, on my Android phone. I would like to download a lot more of the songs I like, with correct metadata and without having to manually edit the album cover art, artist, and more, on my Windows PC.

(Notes: I'd be ok with running another tool that allows altering many files, like Musicbrainz Picard. Looking at https://rentry.co/FMHYAudio/#audio-ripping, it seems I might've answered my own question, but I'm unsure. Do you know of better methods?)

    Obsidian for note taking
  • Obsidian is wonderful. I have folders with daily or weekly notes (and could do monthly or yearly too) similar to what you said. There are so many other features that I could use but haven't yet, because I got it working exactly how I need right now.

One example I use besides journaling is taking notes on YouTube videos. For example, with interviews of YouTubers who give a lot of advice. I can put them all in a folder and/or apply a tag to find them in the same place later.

  • Snails
  • I showed this to my mom and she laughed really hard 😭😆
