Jesus, Michael Dell vibes over here
I’m more a fan of having the little box that shows the thumbnails and URLs for all images in the comment
But dopamine
You can have only one virtual monitor that is connected to a physical Mac, but you can have an unlimited amount of native apps open around you. So instead of opening Teams in your virtual Mac display for example, there would hopefully be a native app you can open in its own space. Same for Xcode, Outlook, etc - open natively instead of through a Mac virtual connection. The headset does have an M2, after all.
The ultimate intention of this device appears targeted to take on solo computers and laptops entirely.
Hearing they don’t even get a cut of transaction fees really raised my eyebrows.
Between 0% interest rates for Apple products, customers who pay off their entire balance, and customers who just don’t pay their balance at all, there’s thousands of ways for them to straight lose money and only one way to make money (balance carrying users who actually pay their bills)
If anything, what this has really shown is he’s exceptionally bad at software-first companies and people. His successes have been in high risk manufacturing markets blended with software methodology, ie reusable rockets, electric vehicles, and storage.
I honestly think he’s just a guy clearly on the spectrum with grand visions that works in certain markets and completely fails in others. Regardless of his poor character, ascribing everything to luck seems a little emotional to me.
Man, imagine having to ctrl+F X when the name changes again
Same here, though it drives me mad that I somehow still haven’t memorized the tap type for each direction
Really had high hopes for Lemmy after coming over from Reddit, but the active community here is just so busy jerking off about being federated and banning threads.
Holy shit, is 33 really “never to old to learn” territory?
Could this potentially be viable as interlinks between multi-planetary satellites? Or are there solutions for that better worth exploring?
I just don’t understand why they don’t just make the phone thicker and have a flush camera. Does it really make such a difference?
Man, I’ve driven a Chevy most my life and it makes me a little sad that I’m going to have to switch for my next car.
Oh wow, this snuck up on me completely! Loved Oxenfree. Totally missed the news this became a Netflix game though.
Looking forward to giving this a crack this weekend.
Respawn across the board has been very impressive throughout its existence, clearly one of the premier studios you can let do whatever they want.
I’m really curious to see them try their hand in a new genre overall, but they seem to be a very focused group that are aware of their strengths.
Damn, sounds like a pretty high price tag
The Star Wars Jedi games do a good job at making money for EA, so this seems logical.
Folks playing around in the simulator - is there a limit to how many apps can be open? Or will I be able to surround myself with a symphony of diverse cat apps?
