Trump says he will not run again if he loses November presidential election
  • Too many people have reason to make sure he gets the Epstein treatment. It wouldn't last long I'm afraid. I really would love to see him get out for testifying against Citizen United, judges, etc. His whole cult would out him as a RINO and their house of cards would collapse. I can dream...

  • Americans in Puerto Rico can't vote for US president. Their anger at Trump is shaping the race
  • The GOP controllers aren't the racists though. They're rich, and puppets to the wealthy. In order to remain in positions of power, they create an enemy, in the form of bigotry and racism. Their sheep are racists. This is why though I trust very few politicians, I trust the Dems more atm because they are not using hatred and violence.

  • Cable companies ask 5th Circuit to block FTC’s click-to-cancel rule | Cable companies worry rule will make it hard to talk customers out of canceling
  • I will say this much... I am knowledgeable that a lot of people cancel because they can't figure out how to use the service, or don't know enough about the service to know they'll need 4+ apps or addons to get what they have currently. Informing them after they tell you what they want sometimes makes them realize switching isn't better. Shouldn't be a long call though, about 15 min.

  • “I am still alive”: Users say T-Mobile must pay for killing “lifetime” price lock
  • In the US companies are people. If a company is a person, then their actions should be judged as such. Oh noes, we saved 2 million dollars by not building a new retaining wall around the coke processing plant, and the old one let it leak into the river and affect drinking water. We're sorry. Oh a fine and waivers of legal fees for $500 per person affected? 600k total? We still win! How about conviction for negligence, and CEOs go to prison for 3rd degree manslaughter? (Also fuck Freedom Industries).

  • Once upon a time attacks came from just land (or sea if near one), and walls and high ground let you literally roll boulders to crush your foes (yay catapults). WW1, Maxim guns, planes, and bombs made this all pointless (but absolutely no fear of floods)

  • If you've ever read Mistborn one of my fav things in that book is that all trees have to be fruiting trees in cities, so that cities naturally produce food in case needed. I always liked that idea.

  • Used to work security. Even when on a street corner observing for state legislature meetings (no phone allowed), I played games of rearranging letters on billboards or vehicles to make new words. (They have cameras and police, I was just there as a deterrent). Wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't 18 degrees F and 32mph winds...

  • Second ooinion

Not 100% in this one. I live in WV, USA. I want a second opinion, since the leaves on this are larger than what my PlantNet shows it is. I wont say what so no bias. It popped up and isn't a native.
