If you see something that needs to be done, and no one else is willing to do it. It must be your job to make sure it's taken care of. No one was ever going to save the Palestinians. Neither trumpkin or skamala should have even been on the ticket. Don't use innocent deaths that you won't speak out against as some sort of depraved check mate. Shows the depth of your moral depravity, that sort of thing should be frowned upon more in society.
3yrs ago, I was 39, if you found a racist tweet from 3 yrs ago, I should be responsible, who cares if 3 yrs ago the kid was in diapers and shouldn't have had access to the internet, that is likely a good enough reason they should never have been allowed near government systems. Wtf did Elon do, walk into a highschool graduation like "you boys wanna see the inside of the government?"
Who is the ruling class so afraid of they decided AI was going to be used for military purposes? Not the people happily doing as they are told. They don't fear the compliant. They fear the ingenuity, resourcefulness, and cunning of those that have never been content with just being told what to do.
There's a place past burnt out... Waaaay past becoming the homeless vagrant that shouts "answer your telephone!" at migrating birds... Past hearing rushing water in your ears that is actually your blood pressure as you have a full blown meltdown because despite over a decade of hard work in a field you still struggled to make rent, car payment, insurance, and food, let alone a social life... There's a place past the fight or flight of an extreme anxiety attack... It's peaceful, bland, and frankly just existing in it fills you with an unspeakable rage. I live there, I have 1 thing, and 1 thing only to lose. My dogs. Anyone dares lay a finger on them and all hell breaks loose. I refuse to stay here. I'm making a cells for all those I will drag here by their short pube hairs. Burnt out is just a stage, if you want to keep living, it gets worse from here.
Believe it or not the Democrats had machinations themselves that they had been working on a long time, and was very nasty. Rumor had it, Kamala would have no problem finalizing those plans, which is why she was ushered in without a primary and Joe was forced out. BOTH PARTIES HAVE GOT TO GO. The democrats enabled this level of power abuse because they wanted the power themselves, nothing was codified into law because they thought they would have the power. They are just as guilty of these current administrations actions because they themselves refuse to limit the powers and reach of branches of the government, they only ever extend them... And they did it because they had plans for that power, but you don't need to believe that, the evidence they allowed the power to exist is elected and likely xitting on truth right now, that's all you really need to believe, Democrats enabled this.
Here's the kicker for most people, THOUGHT EXPERIMENT TIME!!! : for non home owners, how far would you move, and what kind of a career change would you accept in order to be guaranteed an actual house with a mortgage you can definitely afford even serving French fries at McDonalds, and is guaranteed to be paid off within 15yrs? Would you walk away from your current career carte blanche? Cash out your retirement and work construction on homes with the understanding one of the homes you work on is yours at a cost you WILL be able to afford when they are all completed? I personally can't think of a job I wouldn't do except prostitution, and naked body shows, meaning I would clean toilets, I would clean dog shit, I would clean up after nasty sex shows so long as i got proper biohazard protection gear, I would walk away from a 20+ yr career as an IT Engineer to learn basic and then advanced construction. I bet I'm not alone.
I dunno which version this is from, but damn, this was in a letter to Christians of the times, PEOPLE DIDN'T CHANGE! Interesting, and sad.
He is legit a complete fuckfing moron. You want 1 reason, and 1 reason only? He just got access to medicare and medicaid data, HIPAA is not something you fuck with, the fines alone could literally bankrupt musk at his all time richest point, which I think is now, the largest HIPAA breach I could quickly find was 113 thousand people. Cost 5.5 million in fines alone, and was sent to the DOJ for possible criminal charges... How many peoples information is in Medicare and Medicaid? All of them? Oh dear, musk can't afford what he is doing...
Building a world conquering engine takes time, resources, blood, sweat, and tears. In short, I know I can't force the hands that bind, but if I keep on moving toward that goal, eventually, the calvary IS coming, and they are going to slaughter every last one of these bastards.
Despite earning literal millions for my employer(maybe billions, I didn't do the full math and got really upset when I realized it was at least millions) I was not included in any promotions while women that had done a quarter of the earning I had, if that, were promoted above me. I wasn't included and left to rot. Promoting, hiring, and giving awards to people because they belong to a minority is borderline retarded in the purest medical sense. Promoting someone that is a hard worker, intelligent, or a cornerstone to the business despite them belonging to a minority is how it should be, but neglecting people because of their skin color and gender is how we got here, simply doing it to the other gender or ethnicity doesn't solve anything. Let's lay this out for you. Who remembers Rick Flairs Retirement Pay Per View(PPV) Event a few years back? A certain cable operator was going to lose the right to have it on their service due to MAJOR problems with the PPV service showing incorrect prices. Regularly prices for live events were $4.99, 6.99, and 7.99, for events meant to be $69.99, that's about 90% loss of income or more. Rick Flairs team was about to pull the plug and go to Netflix, this was his last hurrah, this had to make him money, now this cable operator, let's call them "Cable Town" had a single engineer that had been working on this issue, and had very good success with no event that they worked the data ever having a pricing issue. This engineer saved the day for Rick Flair and Cable Towns relationship, but Cable Town promoted a woman over the engineer, a woman that had improved a system for contracting out to third party cable providers, that had yet to turn a profit due to just starting out. The engineer that was consistently fixing the PPV events pricing data walked the hell out. Now, where did Mike Tyson's most recent fight air? Netflix. Not Cable Town. D.E.I. is dumb, and doesn't work. The best and brightest regardless of their ethnicity, gender, or anything else unique to them should be promoted and paid in step with their contributions to the income of the organization, otherwise you risk losing MAJOR clients to an internet startup that takes things like profit seriously.
If he said this to people in my home town, there would be 1 resounding answer from those left standing "Live free or Die" so actually Palestinians that have nothing to lose because it was taken from them, literally don't have a choice but to stay and fight the boot on their neck.
Will the new enemy of the USA be the people?
Meanwhile: me sitting here frustrated to hell people actually still pick "the lesser evil" PROTEST THE LESSER EVIL TOO!!! ACCEPT NOTHING LESS THAN COMPETENCY!
I hate the american tax system. Not more than wiccans, but still a whole lot. Especially since I just read of a bunch of comments saying how great their tax filing is... Musky needs to be arrested, he's obviously destroying services that make our lives as citizens easier. That's what the federal government should be, easy and comprehensive to citizens and cold and mean to people like El(t)on musk
Mark my words, the lawsuits on this are going to be EPIC. He is not elected, he does not hold an official position that has ever existed, and he is meddling with extremely sensitive information, I promise you there is lawyers licking their chops and praising the universe for sending this idiot to put their kids thru college. He isn't vetted, he isn't approved by Congress, and he's dabbling in things that result in very serious prison sentences when handled improperly... Trumps judges simply won't be able to ignore the extreme ramifications when a slick high priced lawyer is spelling out how musks scent is all over documents leading to vast amounts of financial loss. Long story short, there's a reason people need a long list of credentials before accessing things like the OPM, and those entail the financial responsibilities that come with mishandling... Musky gonna learn this one the hard way.
Welcome ex-Redditors!
I found Lemmy when I switched from android to calyxos and a Lemmy world app had just had a recent update on f-droid basic... Reddit lost interest for me prior to the GameStop saga that recently ended it's "positive in the eyes of the public" stage and superstonk has no meaning when the CEO is openly betraying his investors. Reddit is mostly involuntarily celibate cat ladies(the smelly kind), and frankly it shows in the content.
Suing for wrongful termination shouldn't be a cost to you, the lawyer is paid out of the wrongful termination settlement. This is important because a lot of people may not know that and might just allow their job to be illegally taken. If the lawyer says they want a retainer, find another lawyer, you shouldnt need to pay anyone to fight to keep your job if you are being wrongfully targeted.

HA! Russia see's trumpo trying to eat their lunch too... Unless; this is their buddy buddy way of starting ww3. Stay tuned to find out what the Republicans will do with the level of power the Democrats allowed to exist because they wanted it for themselves...
E=mc2 could be a shower thought if you haven't learned it before... Yes in the course of all of human history someone might have thought of it previously, and whoa to history if maybe they weren't in a shower, but the white noise, and warmth of a shower can allow your brain to chew on things you may never encounter in the world, and indeed be born of a showering state of being, indeed I would be surprised if most shower thoughts hadn't already been thoroughly documented by some scientist looking to be the next George Washington Carver. Shower thoughts do not have to be original, but they should at least shed light on things in a way you, and maybe most people, wouldn't consider. Personally, I hadn't considered why my brain does that since I at one point was diagnosed with general anxiety disorder(gad), and frankly every moment was terrifying, and my brain and myself were just stuck in a cycle of nightmare scenarios, and now that I'm past that, it makes sense why sometimes I remember cringe scenarios and it isn't gad starting to take hold again.
Modern vehicles suck. There is literally time bombs in every single one in the shape of a required part that is plastic, rubber, cheap alloy cast, or a mix of all three that WILL fall apart in your car in the next 10yrs, it WILL cost close to $2000 to repair, and if you can't the car loses a massive portion of it's value for resale. Right to repair is a far cry from fixing the siphoning of resources from the average person, but it is definitely a step in the right direction. No surprise corporations would be against lower repair bills when they literally set their budget against the repairs they know you will need. Here is an example: Mini Coopers, the water pump is cooled by radiator fluid, if the fluid gets low enough for the car to overheat the water pump dies immediately because it sits below the level where the engine starts to over heat. There is no dummy light, there is no gauge to tell you your coolant is low. You yourself could fix this with an aftermarket temperature sensor that you position connected to the water pump so if the water pump itself starts to overheat you get an alarm from the sensor, but Mini Cooper will never allow their engineers to put a temp sensor there, or even a low fluid sensor, because when that pump goes out a mini service center is getting around $1500-$2k. Literally the only warning you may get prior to the water pump dying is the faint smell of radiator fluid. Right to repair is not where this fight should be at, we should be passing laws forcing corporations to use quality engineering.
