  • Unless you are very priveleged (as in your electricity needs are met by your own generation completely and you have backup generation as well) you should not, it would bite you in the ass when bad weather or something way less cool will destroy your centralised power lines and/or power plant.

  • Same reason they do it in every big city. Fear and uncertainty and internal propaganda, they love to make news like we've killed 300 black mercenary-satanists in this kindergarten wink-wink and later other news channel will go and say shit like that's to few of them children dead.

  • Game development now is cheaper and more accessible than ever before, blockbuster games with budgets in hundreds of millions should flop and never recoup money invested in them. Graphically games made last year and games made ten years ago are comparable, and on nintendo switch both would look horrible so graphics is out, games from nintendo often are entertaining, but simple-ish and not all that engaging to play them for months at a time (there are exceptions but they are extremely rare). Third party games can be bought two-three-four times cheaper while being better games. So unless you are very financially stable and $100 for a game is like a cup of coffee to you arguing for increase of price goes counter to your interest as a player.

  • Max Kidruk - Colony. The New Dark Ages

Dunno if it was or ever will be translated into english. It's a hard sci-fi book about challenges of established and semi-autonomous martian colony and other problems and challenges earth-side. It was great, if a bit longer than I prefer.

Last english language one was "Matt Dinamon - Dungeon Crawler Carl" great humor, somewhat unexpected story.
