probably just redefining what they mean by "personal data"

with the recent news of a ToS from FF which forks would you recommend as a daily driver to replace FF?

the genie is out of the bottle, they might as well capitalize on it while they still can.

i predict with ai getting cheaper and more efficient we will "soon" have the ability to run our own personal ai locally on a phone

the most damning things said about tp link routers are things that are equally true about routers from any company. yes, there are vulnerabilities, yes they sometimes get hacked and become involved in larger attacks. none of that is unique to any one brand

enforcing data privacy but requiring verification for porn is an odd combo

they should have kept using the M198 if the M777 had problems like this. but that's a 20yo choice now

CF is DNS you could be using it a lot and never know

i think this would be true of basically any large service that had multiple data centers. whichever one catches your data is the one closest to you.

the difficulty is accessing that data even if you can't read it you still have the closest location.

sounds to me like the Internet working as intended. if you want true privacy you need to take extra steps
