Really just curious what folks out there deem valuable enough to give money for monthly or annually. As a software engineer I have quite a few that keep me productive and I'll list a few:
- ChatGPT
- Perplexity
- Obsidian Sync
- YouTube Premium
I thought Kagi shut down.
I guess turns out no but if I'm going to pay for search it's something like Perplexity.
Also this is not how I'd recommend storing the date and time
First of all the upgrade removed my pinned contacts and apps, so I had to start the game of whack a mole all over again. The default suggested apps and contacts were apps I never used and people I never contact.
You get 5 options now instead of 4 which is ok, but you can't have two rows of favorites. Just one. The first pinned app slot is now taken up by a permanent "nearby share" icon that can't be removed so you basically have 4 pinned app slots.
I still haven't been able to pin the handful of individuals I share things with yet. Hopefully eventually they are graced by the algorithm lords and show up some day so I can pin them.
Adjusted for inflation, the budget for the trilogy would be around $450 million, which still doesn't seem to bad considering the scale of it.
Thank you again for your kind replies.
Thank you!!
So I got the model working (TheBloke/PsyMedRP-v1-20B-GGUF). How do you jailbreak this thing? A simple request comes back with "As an AI, I cannot engage in explicit or adult content. My purpose is to provide helpful and informative responses while adhering to ethical standards and respecting moral and cultural norms. Blah de blah..." I would expect this llm to be wide open?
Stupid newbie question here, but when you go to a HuggingFace LLM and you see a big list like this, what on earth do all these variants mean?
psymedrp-v1-20b.Q2_K.gguf 8.31 GB
psymedrp-v1-20b.Q3_K_M.gguf 9.7 GB
psymedrp-v1-20b.Q3_K_S.gguf 8.66 GB
etc...
Wow I didn't expect such a helpful and thorough response! Thank you kind stranger!
Is there a post somewhere on getting started using things like these?
This AI sucks. I've tried it. It's worse than Replika from 4 years ago.
Have you been watching the AI landscape of the past year? It's moving fast, and I am hoping bard + assistant integration will take things to the next level
Yes. If I say "set an alarm for 3,422 minutes from now" my fucking computer phone should be able to do it. The whole point is it's NOT a human.
The AI should be smarter. "That's an alarm for Tuesday, right?" is a confirmation it could ask.
The whole point of the assistant is to automate the manual steps 🤔
This is how I am with books. I have Starters Anxiety

If not any good tools out there to seamlessly AI summarize articles? I'm imagining an app you can just share a URL to that would instantly render a summary for you.
