@stefan@stefanbohacek.online I’m sure they would appreciate it. A new use case for GtS is limited federation circles. It is getting new features to manage that and means a need to audit performance for larger user counts.
@stefan@stefanbohacek.online Welcome to GoToSocial! Are you moving all your bots to one instance? I know you have quite a few!
Up to now, GtS has been about single user instances or small groups. Very interested to see how it does with more traffic in and out.
@stefan@stefanbohacek.online @thisismissem@hachyderm.io I did this by accident about a year ago. It was presented in a beta client without much fanfare and I didn’t realize what I was doing.
Presenting some examples of what’s about to happen - this will remove 500 followers and 300 people you follow. Are you sure you want to proceed? Then, you have to manually type the words “I approve” for the block to occur. Anything to slow the process down a bit.
The most promising project in terms of plugins is Bonfire (they call them extensions)
Forkeys have a plugin system already. I’ve built a few things with it, but usage isn’t widespread, at least outside of Misskey. I wrote a bit about it and created some documentation. (Maegul your name is super familiar, apologies if you already knew about this)
@bean For those of you that like to be on the bleeding edge of the Bean updates, here's an Apple Shortcut that takes you straight to the Bean TestFlight page. Just click update, and you're shiny.
I call it "Refried Bean" 🫘

I think the Lemmy app @bean test flight builds may actually outnumber and outpace @IceCubesApp when it was being built. 😅 Keep going!
Mastodon certainly has a lot of creative, unique apps. You can certainly find a fit just for you.
But I think the #Threadiverse is having it's own golden era right now with a plethora of choices for us finicky #Fediverse users. The best list I could find for #Lemmy is attached, but it's still missing a few newcomers, like @bean
Nothing near as comprehensive for #kbin yet (the API is still getting it's legs) but there is the amazing @ArtemisApp
Coder, manager, dog dad. Tech tinkering is my joy. Be kind.
