Cis-het married cat lady, retired web developer, pro-choice atheist and feminist. My train station is Lawnton, I shop at Warner, and my federal MP is a potato. #Australian

Diagnosed at 60 as #ActuallyAutistic. Still trying to work out what that means. Strong opinions, many interests, boring AF. I don't get out much because of physical limitations and fear of #COVID

My pronouns are she/her. My cats are Shula (black) and Jana (tortie).

  • @zik @Zagorath me too, so is my husband, and another married couple we are close friends with. So that's five of us at least.

  • @antidote101 @rainynight65 we not with the vioelnt imagery? Hasn't there been enough in the last few days?

  • @Ilandar @vividspecter if there was any justice, it would be a retrial of the original charge of raping Brittany Higgins :(

  • @Zagorath Police commissioner uses clunky TS quote. Needs new PR advisor. New hire is ex-7, and Auerbach's nemisis. It's not clear why that has anything to do with Auerbach's testimony or why he decided to speak up.

  • @Dippy @sillinesslemon 10ft is more like 3 metres.

A football field is 300ft x 160ft. So using your estimate, that's 480,000 cubic feet, or 13,592 cubic metres of radioactive waste

  • @CeeBee "Clean energy, by definition, is energy generated by a means that doesn’t release harmful by-products into the environment."

Did you even read what you just wrote?

  • @CeeBee It’s not clean if it leaves dangerous waste behind that is a nightmare to dispose of safely.

What is your definition of clean if you think nuclear is clean?

  • @CeeBee Nuclear is not a clean source of energy! FFS, you lot are just ignorant of the realities and the danger of such generation.

  • @Zagorath The best thing is if someone else paid for it to be installed :) We have spent over $20000, although the savings are pretty amazing. The battery is really the game changer, at least here in Brisbane

  • @Zagorath @australia I just got a bill for $0, with $88 in credit towards the next bill. Solar + battery is great :)
