I'm doing the same. Only once in a while I can't point myself at a specific interactive item but they built two ways to fix that (use left or right on d-pad to cycle through nearby objects or click left stick to switch to pointer-like controls). I'm super impressed so far with the controller support.

I believe that indicates that particular community is "local" to the instance of Lemmy you're signed into. Since it is local they don't need to add the rest of the instance address for the community.
