  • The UK has had its own attacks from the Russian state (the assassination of Alexander Litvinenko and the attempted assassination of Sergei Skripal). Given that they invaded Ukraine (despite denying that they would), who knows what they will do next.

  • You have communist symbols on your profile so I guess you'll believe whatever that ideology tells you to believe.

Anyway, you're obviously stupid. If you were intelligent you'd be able to make points without talking about dogs.

I'm not a massive supporter of Starmer, I think he's just relatively sensible, and I also think it's unlikely that Britain will have a more left-wing prime minister any time soon. The prime minister after Starmer could definitely be more right-wing. Maybe it will be Badenoch, or Jenrick, or another Tory.

Maybe you suffer from some sort of purity complex where anybody who isn't Mao Zedong is an enemy to you. If so then that's just fucking stupid, not least because all those communist leaders let their people suffer immensely. You're just a moron aren't you?

  • True. I don't think I would recommend someone to look at Hexbear or Lemmygrad. Maybe I would mention Lemmy.world as the easiest entry point to Lemmy, and the existence of other servers like Feddit.org, Lemm.ee, etc.

  • I'm replying again because your posts are moronic. I didn't say that Starmer is my favourite politician of all time, I just think he seems relatively sensible. If I were to be an obedient dog then I would conform to whatever your shitty instance wants me to think, just like you do.

  • Fair points. I just think some people won't want the hassle of weighing up different instances, they might just want the instance with the most content and people, because I guess the most people implies reliability.

As for reasons for picking an instance, yes those are valid reasons. I picked this British instance so I can see all the British stuff when I view local posts, and other stuff when I view all posts. From another instance I guess I'd have to check every British community on feddit.uk manually.

  • Yes I reported your post because normal people, in civil conversation, don't refer to other people as animals. My hope with Lemmy is that people can be civil and polite but for some reason you didn't want to be.

It looks like I was right to report your post because the mods seemed to agree that it was a bad post.
