The NYT published the proclamation of Hitler verbatim without criticizing it
Yes that is how journalism works. It is a report not the op-ed you seem to want it to be. If you want to be told how to feel, as opposed to reports, don’t look to journalism.
Conveniently Godot is not a game and general consumer reviews have no real relevance
To what end?
Apologies, I was busy not being chronically online. Made some noise for you so that you can pass judgement upon me at your leisure.
My opinion is that they are a people, caged. The conditions that they live in are far below what they deserve for being human.
That’s my opinion really: they’re humans, just like all others and they deserve to be treated with dignity and to be loved and to be able to sleep knowing that they are safe. They have been deprived of these things for far, far too long and I believe that is deeply wrong.
What’s your opinion on Palestinians?
Why not? Hell I’m Jewish and I think the Israeli govt is regularly in the wrong and I feel for the people of Israel that could have better lives and those the govt harms. I also think Hamas is evidently wretched and those perpetrating these abhorrent acts deserve everything coming to them.
Unfortunately, while I’m sure Hamas will suffer, the civilians of both Israel and Palestine will once again bear the true cost of this conflict.
Luckily the moon is a quick day-trip away in case we return to sticks and stones.
a god that we worshipped
Would they be wrong? What’s the line between idolization and worship?
attention-grabbing messaging
This is what the GOP would call a senator wearing a rainbow shirt, for instance. Should that be a reason to restrict self-expression?
400,000 people is a large town or small city
That’s basically the population of my whole state… always interesting what people think of as “large towns” or “small cities” lol
The big thing that’s holding Apple back regarding Siri is that they aim to have all their AI-driven functions processed on the user’s hardware, for security/privacy. So they not only need the software component, they want to have the hardware capable of running it inside the individual phones.
“Some governments.” Government is corruption. How much varies, but if given leeway they all go the same direction.
That’s you, by the way—the hand of corruption. Respectfully.
I love metroidvania games and I see so much great in Hollow Knight. My big issue is that it’s way too fucking long. Not every game needs to be so big, it’s okay to be a tight, concise experience.
If you’re actually curious: the purpose it serves is to instill a weight in and fear of death for the player. The goal is to make you more tense when pushing farther from your last checkpoint.
That’s the idea, at least.
Ah yes the From Software games, renowned for their stable, non-stuttery performance and support for high frame rates
(Armored Core 6 is a very welcome exception to the rule of From Soft game performance. Hopefully they keep that up going forward)
just turn on DLSS
Game doesn’t even have DLSS support lol
Just gonna point out that Prey was going for a very, very different aesthetic than Starfield. Prey is Art Deco, a style popular in the 1910’s-1930’s not “space race.” Starfield is definitely going for a more “NASA-punk” aesthetic.
Whether it achieves that well, I can’t say, I only played like an hour and a half before I got bored and felt no desire to go back. I like the space suit designs though—chunky tech is great.
Coffee stain went from an absolute dumbass meme game like Goat Simulator
This is Sunctuary erasure.
iOS allows you to change the default browser, a key aspect that this change to Teams circumvents.
