Sure. A lot of the anti-trans legislation specifically targets minors by banning puberty blockers and HRT for people under 18, forcing students to use the bathroom matching their AGAB in schools, forcing teachers to out trans students to their parents etc. The US in particular has a sizeable conversion "therapy" industry that largely targets minors. Trans kids are also much more at the mercy of their parents supporting them in their social and / or medical transition. If you live alone or with your parents makes a massive difference in your questioning phase. It's a lot harder to figure yourself out when putting on makeup and a skirt (or a binder and a packer when you're transmasc) means you can't leave your room like that because then your parents may see you. Buying these items in the first place may be impossible for many teens, at least without their parents noticing. An adult can usually go no contact with their transphobic parents without being materially ruined by it. A trans kid going no contact usually means they end up homeless. And on top of that, these kids are already aware of being trans at the precise point in their life when their body, if untreated, is changing in drastic ways that cause them massive dysphoria. If they do not have access to blockers or HRT, they consciously have to go through the wrong puberty and see what that does to their body. The pressure on trans kids is just much higher than the pressure on trans adults. Trans youth are an extremely vulnerable population, they just lack a lot of the ressources that people transitioning at a later age have while being in a much more precarious social and psychological situation. Being a teenager is hard enough as it is, but being a trans teenager with an unsupportive home and school environment leaves you little to no room to escape.
And the numbers from that stufy reflect that. The 72% increase in suicides is specifically for people aged 13-17. It is nowhere near that high in any other age group. And that's due to the factors outlined above. These laws and this social climate disproportionally kill children.
Anybody, and i mean literally anybody in support of these laws is an accessory to infanticide and should be treated as such.
My irl trans community is at the point where we are considering to add epithets for girls called Luna, Lina, Maya etc. because shit's starting to confuse the hell out of everybody
it can be a kind of amusing game to see how much of a flat affect and reserved demeanor one can maintain during the reveal of surreal corruption and incompetence
Yeees, it can be ... quite amusing, detective.
a PR disaster for piss
I don't think many people would openly admit to supporting fascism
which is why i count the "don't know" votes as "fascism, but i'm not gonna say that out loud"
Really a missed opportunity, Lord Pickles would be a plausible name for a British cat, and that cat could ride on that guy's hat and pilot him like Cait Sith from FF VII.
guess he didn't take it too well when the game literally told him to stop obsessing over other people's sexuality
The most anarchic of creatures are the cat
there actually is popular AnCom / syndicalist imagery around cats:
This originated with so-called wildcat strikes organized by the IWW, but nowadays is used in all kinds of agitprop about becoming ungovernable. Variations include a portrait image of a black cat hissing and so on
The Romans often just appropriated a Hellenistic concept and slapped new names on it, calling Icarus Luigi is far from the only example. See also renaming Zeus Jupiter or referring to lesbians as gal pals.

I don't find it surprising, it's a typical patriarchy enjoyer take to denounce the most egregious sex pests to protect the rest. Only the most unhinged incels will openly call for their right to assault people, but a lot of men are way too comfortable with the kind of culture that enabled Weinstein and Spacey because they - often correctly - have a hunch that they themselves did clearly boundary violating things to their dates in the past and are scared they'll get called out for that.
not the least bit surprised tbh, they post memes making fun of "binoclards" almost daily
Me, telling Amerikans that Germany has a carbon copy of Sovereign Citizens and that they're called Reichsbürger:
Still can't get over how the German localization translated Kimball as "Flippuragi" because pinball is Flipper in German.
There's blood rituals and then there's "i drilled a hole into my own skull and stuck an electrode into it to make this look less like powerpoint engineering"
Whenever i hear the Italian national anthem, i imagine the lyrics to just be "Italia, Italia, Italia, Italiaaaa" over and over again. idk why
honestly makes me wonder if the US will enter another era of beardo presidents one day, i could see that being a thing when all these hirsute dudes become old enough, which isn't that far off
While Transgender lives in the UK and US are at risk, PinkNews abandons its transgender readers.
> In a bombshell leak from @PinkNewsStaff on X, Pink News' CEO Benjamin Cohen has been recorded signalling his intent to abandon the trans community to instead focus on being an “entertainment powerhouse”.
> In the leaked recording Benjamin is captured stating "We have to be careful." "It's the role of others to change narratives", going on to further say that covering transgender issues will cause them to lose advertisers.
> This revelation comes two weeks after pinknews removed their trans category from the website.
> @PinkNewsStaff joined X in May 2024 and has been releasing several other allegations about the outlet, claiming there is a toxic culture of bullying, harassment and discrimination at PinkNews.

It just makes more sense this way and if you're going "noooooooo words mean something you can't just grab all the gay" i'm like lol gayroller goes vrooooom !wojak-nooo !gayroller-2000
btw here's how gay i am now that i have ascended to my new and vastly more powerful form:
!hexbear-gay-pride !hexbear-lesbian !hexbear-bi-2 !hexbear-pan !hexbear-polyam !hexbear-demisexual !hexbear-trans !meow-hug !hexbear-trans
and yes the two trans bears with the hugging cats inbetween are now the official logo for t4t
It wasn't a hostile discussion or anything, i didn't even go full "the kulaks deserved it" (although the mod that single-handedly banned me did go full "the kulaks did not deserve it"). I just laid out plainly and calmly that revolutions are inherently authoritarian, that Luxemburg said "the revolution will be as violent as the ruling class makes it necessary" and that there's one Trotzki quote i 100% agree with: "If the October Revolution hadn't succeeded, the world would have known a Russian word for fascism 10 years before Mussolini's March on Rome". Basically the whole "Jakarta Method" train of thought laid out clearly and without calling anybody names.
Note that this was on an explicitly left-leaning server that does not allow cops and troops to join. Also after several days of another poster starting destructive, aggressive bad faith arguments in the politics channel until a number of users went "disengage" on her and the channel had to be frozen until recently, when she immediately started being hostile and arguing in bad faith again, which got her not one, but two warnings from the same mod without further consequences. Meanwhile, when i defend AES without attacking anybody, that's apparently too much for her to handle. No advance warning, no "sis, you're talking to me as a mod here", not even a notification that i got banned.
The best part is that according to screenshots a friend just sent me, she's now completely going off about "authoritarians". The nerve some people have.
Sorry for posting pointless internet drama here, i just needed to vent.
The world chess federation FIDE recently made the incredibly transphobic and mysogynist ruling to exclude trans women from competing in women's tournaments, to strip trans men of pre-transition titles and to subject trans people to a two-year long surveilance process that could lead to forced outings. The German and French chess federation have now decided to ignore this ruling. Source in German (mostly with the info from the image): https://www.queer.de/detail.php?article_id=46744
Sorry about the idealism tho, this test is actually hella dumb, but it's more fun than they usually are (at least if you're a permanently online trans person).
Anyway, if you want to do dumb political compass shit, but with trans memes, here's the test: https://notaquaheart.github.io/TransAxes/?
