I know this is probably fake, but, I've heard way too many horror stories about hr like this.
HR is there to protect the company from you. When you're being harassed at work, during work hours, talking to HR is basically saying "I know I can turn this into a legal thing, but I'll give you a chance to correct it before I do that".
If HR laughs at you about a complaint, your next steps are to collect evidence and hire a lawyer.
Sue the shit out of them.
Get the evidence before going to HR because there's more than a small chance they are going to laugh while escorting you out if the building.
I don't think that's legal to do, however, having the evidence before hand is a good idea regardless of the likelihood of being dismissed for making the complaint.
Evidence is always something you should have.
For sure and for me, i think the best way to think of it is if there was a department called "computer resource department." No ones is going to convince themselves that its there for the benefit of the computers, as its clearly there to get as much profitability out of them as possible.
How do you even collect evidence of something that happened momentarily?
Had some woman full-on grab my male arse in my old job when I was bent over doing a task. My colleague (female) saw it and marched after her letting her know that wasnt acceptable. Another member of staff kept constantly going on about my bike shorts and legs and everything inbetween.. she was about 20 years older than me.
People here say this green text is fake. It may well be, but from experience it also may not.
I mean, I think it's fake because it's a green text, but this shit definitely does happen.
Bro fuck you for that fly
I'm actually glad the company I work for not only takes sexual harassment seriously, but they actually use primarily examples of female perpetrators and male victims to emphasize the point that it can happen to anyone.
I would think this false but my ex MIL (my kids grandma) does do that to my husband (who doesn't care). I can't imagine touching anyone at work without explicit permission and probably not even then. It seems so messed up.
Lies.
Not necessarily, i have a very buff friend and it happens to him all the time, especially when we go to the pub
Does she slay vampires? 😉
but does your buff friend ever post on fourchan?
It's really not uncommon, women can ignore your bounderies too and when they do they are usually especially overt about it because they often don't realize they are doing anything wrong. A lot of my friends are body builders and it 100% happens. Every single one of them has been touched without their consent
Exact same thing happened to me. Only there was no HR to do nothing.
Did he want men to grab his biceps? Or just no touchy? If they grab my biceps without permission then I grab their tits it equals out!
I read it as he wanted the opportunity to consent
Yeah polite ones usually ask first
And we still wonder why women pick the bear.....
They pick the bear because some guy on Lemmy said that if a woman groped him without his permission he'd grope her without hers?
What I'm reading into this is that you think a woman groping a man without his permission is a lesser violation than a man doing the same to a woman.
Who's still wondering
Presuming it wasn't creative fiction, document and enjoy the huge pile of money from the lawsuit.
How fucking big did this dudes arms get in one year? I’m calling bullshit.
If this is actually real I would suggest using interpersonal relationship skills and ask these hordes of women to stop touching your biceps yourself. Given that anon is a green texter, he may be lacking in this department.
Lol I'm not saying this is definitely real, but it's completely plausible that an otherwise socially competent person freezes up when someone grabs them wantonly and unwantedly. And I fully believe that someone who would do that in the first place would also not stop when they're told no.
Pretty victim blamey, NGL. Norms should be in place to ask for consent (tacit or explicit) before touching someone else
It is on 4chan, so there's an approximately 99% chance it's completely made up, and the poster can barely lift his keyboard.
This really depends. I have seen people go from meh muscle build to pretty damn jacked after a year of hard work, and as much gear as they could find.
My one average coworker got a good routine going between Christmas and Easter and by the time I ran into him in the summer he was a shithouse
And then get laughed at by your lawyer, the judge, and the jury.
Stay poor, doomer, anon's got some HR hoes to farm for a slam dunk sexual discrimination and hostile work environment case.
Plus, as a bonus, people will listen to him because he's a man.
That only happens in your imagination. Court is definitely not as sexist.
And if they are, you can sue them as well for even more money!
