Hezbollah fired a barrage of 40 rockets from southern Lebanon at Israel, as the country braced for a major attack by Iran.
I haven't been following Lebanon border stuff at all. How unusual is 40 rockets compared to an "average" day. Not that unusual?
An average day is 2-6. This is a significant response to a very large movement of materiel (tanks and trucks) Israel has performed in the last few days. Speculation: I think Israel was planning to redivert resources away from Gaza in an effort to invade and Hezbollah are choosing not to wait for that.
Always thought it should be called the Israel-children war.
