I don’t know if this is the right forum but I am looking for some advice and tips/tricks.
I just bought a home and it has Cat5e running throughout. I have fiber internet and current speed is 5gigs. I’m not keeping that, but they offered it for free for 2 months and after that I will drop it back down to the 1gig. I am wanting to upgrade the cable in the house to better utilize those speeds but I have run into the issue that the cable is stapled to the studs in a lot of runs. A few spots it wasn’t and I was able to tape the new cable to the old cable and pull it through.
I’m looking for some tips/tricks to pull to the areas where it’s stapled. More specifically, I have a 2 story and I’m trying to go from first floor to attic. I’m fairly handy and have tools, but wanted to seek out before I make this harder than it needs to be.
