Also make sure you're on an instance that federates with porn instances, iirc lemmy.ml does not, for example.

A good way to detect a Syncpisser is them moaning and kicking rocks about how Sync is the best thing since sliced bread, while everyone else enjoys amazing FOSS Lemmy client apps.
