Snagged a 3 pack of buckets today

If I had a penny for every time I saw someone post to the internet about buying buckets off of Costco today, I'd have two pennies.

- I accidentally started a pottery hobby. It began with digging out some garden beds then one thing led to another and now I need a bunch of water to let the natural clay separate from the debris

How much do they cost? I usually pay about $4-5 per bucket. Unless it’s food safe they cost a bit more.
Are they food safe? (The only food safe ones I found so far are at tractor supply or Amazon)
- I don’t know about Costco buckets but I usually stop at a pub and get a bucket from them if I need a food safe one.
  Lots of their kitchen stuff comes in them.

- I bought some food safe ones from Lowe's last week. They were 1 gallon size. Didn't even realize they were food safe until I got them home.

Today I learned Mother's Day is apparently the best time to go to Costco and it not be overwhelmingly crowded

  Yes, for the most part. Only stores that are more publicly associated with Christianity (just Chick-Fil-A comes to mind) are closed on Sunday.
I saw these for the first time less than a week ago. I would love to have a Costco-branded bucket but I absolutely do not need 3 buckets. I don't even really need 1 bucket right now. Someday though...
- Keep your eye out for buckets. The first one I acquired must have fallen out of a pickup that turned too quickly. I was super self-conscious when I pulled over to pick it up

How does the price compare to the Home Depot or Lowe's buckets?
- It was $10 for a 3 pack. Something tells me this is actually a shit price but I can't imagine needing more than this.

Do they have lids? Lowes charges $4 for the bucket plus $3 for the lid.
Hey, a stack of buckets is a cheap way to have a very versatile set of tools or parts for a home
And here I am, with stacks of buckets I try to get rid of every year. I probably have 200 of them out behind the shop right now.
