To be honest I understand the children here. The saving part of me just understand that it is better to use everything.
It's pretty much the same with pigs, only part that isn't used is brain.
only part that isn't used is brain.
Which is also how you vote Republican
Brain was used in old cold cut recipes and still sees use in some specialty restaurants and such. it's not common (i guess mostly because it spoils faster than most of the rest of the animal), but not unheard off.
My Grandmother was once very pleased to get her hands on fresh brain, which she basicaly stir fried with eggs and oinions. Me and my brother were not pleased with it, but i think it once was a fairly popular dish in germany and austria.
so if you know a butcher you trust you might be able to buy cleaned fresh brain. I still would not recommend it, but if it can be used why not?
You can buy pig brain in a can. Though I don't eat meat much anymore, it did go well with eggs.
"now who will still eat this"
uh dude do you understand what kind of slop kids get fed at school they do not have refined palates
Obligatory Dan Olson
Tell each chef that they can make any meal they want to impress the judge, but not reveal that the judges are children. Let the children judges choose the meals for each elimination round after.
Hosted by Alton Brown
There’s a buzzfeed show called “I draw, you cook” where kids draw something and 2 chefs try to create it. Then the kids judge which is better.
Top Chef did this once and it was great.
Whoever wrote this post, should patent the idea, and wait a couple of weeks.
Not kids, but Dropout's Gastronauts has a quite similar (but less rude) vibe
Cooking contest where the judge has ARFID please
Sorted did that once actually
This would be the only cooking show I'd really want to watch!
It's not it, but you reminded me of it.
