Still trying to get !buyeuropean@feddit.uk , !BuyFromEU@europe.pub and !buyfromeu@feddit.org to consolidate instead of competing against each other
Yep, it's kinda silly. But I have little doubt they can't all last that long. So, I'll repeat myself: don't worry too much. Keep doing your good work and one or the other community should impose itself.
The main issue for me is that I have to keep an eye on what they are doing. Instead of resting for a bit after that first "boost" phase and rely on other posters to keep the community active, it's the opposite: I have to "compete" rather than collaborate.
Please make it happen.

I've been trying to explain why it would be better to have a single active community, but the two active posters there rejected my arguments as "personal opinion"
!europePub@europe.pub for people on other instances
We're now 446 members in !journaling@sh.itjust.works and things start to move a little... kinda, maybe? One person posted a new thread ;)
I have 8 months left (I gave myself a year) to try to revitalize the community, so there is no urgency but I'm surprised to see more people subscribing one week to the next but almost no one posting. That being said, like I said, I have a few months left before I reach my deadline and I keep on posting a new and thematic thread each week... hopefully motivating a few people to participate.
Maybe other type of content would work better to attract more participation, that I can't tell.
My regular posting on !sumo@lemmy.world is coming to an end for the moment!
Anyway, this tournament we went from 47 subscribers to 80 (plus my one alt), so that's pratty good for a niche sub. Let's see how we do next tournament two month from now! Ganbarimasu! (I'll do my best!)
Thank you for keeping this community active!
I don't run a community but enjoy reading those recap threads. Community building isn't something people think about but should
Thank you for your comment
!Television@lemm.ee seems on track, passed the 1k monthly active users last week
Cool stuff!
Weekly Recap
!eternalplaylist@crazypeople.online still holds the top spot on our instance. This week we've gained ~20 new subscribers, moving us to just over 180. It's been great seeing even more new users stop by to share what they're listening to.
!weedtime@crazypeople.online continues to mirror the growth of our largest community, gaining similar subscribers and totaling similar numbers. This community has also crossed over 180 subscribers, flip flopping into the top spot depending on the day. With 4-20 less than a month away I wonder if we'll see a surge in interest that moves this community to the top.
!loweffortmemes@crazypeople.online has seen the most rapid growth on the instance this week. Last week we were approaching 90 subscribers and this week we've nearly reached 120. @Sir_Kevin@lemmy.dbzer0.com continues to lead the way with some fire memes!
!pokemonTCGM@crazypeople.online has fewer new subscribers but remains active. We've added just about 10 new trainers this week, moving us to 80 members. There's a new set for Shiny pokemon just around the corner so now is a great time to join us for trading, news, and sharing your best pulls!
!autoracing@crazypeople.online broke the 50 member threshold this week. There are tons of racing categories that are active right now and we've had a few different events posted lately. I'm entertaining the idea of a bot to post about live events with viewing links but I've got my hands full with other projects so it remains a pipe dream for now. I've tried to mix in some recaps as well as some live events but things are pretty sporadic. If others are interested you're welcome to post about whatever categories you're interested in. Links to watch events from the high seas aren't being removed, make of that what you will.
The broader picture for our instance has looked good as well. We're now listed on join-lemmy.org and seeing member growth from it. Several new members have joined the site this week, many of whom are reddit refugees looking for a place where they are welcome. I'm hopeful we'll be able to continue riding the wave to build a strong local community that members are proud to call home.
Veterans of the fediverse are also welcome to join us. Whether you'd like an alt account or you're looking for a place to transplant your time spent online our instance is happy to accept new members who think our space might be the right fit for them. We do the best we can to mix the feel of a smaller instance with the performance and experience of a larger one with the hope that others will feel comfortable enough to open up and start contributing. Slowly but surely we can build something special if we work together.
I wish you the best of luck with your instance, sounds like a solid smaller instance!
Trying to get !fediverse@lemmy.zip as an alternative to the LW version due to the 3-days delay with aussie.zone, probably not going to happen any time soon
Steady pace for !ask@lemm.ee
I forgor💀
I've not been that active in !fakealbumcovers@lemm.ee or !haiku@lemm.ee the past week, but I think I've built enough of an initial set of posts that I can post biweekly ish and maybe eventually try evangelizing on the respective subreddits
Nice!
