I like the joke but isn't Mermista one of the few straight characters in PoP?
- according to the wiki, nd stevenson and vella lovell (mermistas voice actor) have expressed support of mermista being bi
  
  I know the policy of the show is basically "assume they're queer unless stated otherwise" so that makes sense. I just didn't remember any real evidence of her being into women and obviously she dates Sea Hawk
