What we really need is Wesley Snipes as LeBar Burton as Blade.
It makes me wonder, are Star Trek actors generally better persons due to the influence of the show's scripts, or were they picked by the cast direction that was good at picking good people?
Generally speaking, it's casting people. I've been listening to a shit ton of film production podcasts and the universal thread across the good shows is excellent casting directors.
You need great writers of course, so after a while the two go hand in hand.
