Voyager should be on there.
- That’s what I use but it’s just one of the several way to access Lemmy which is the first app shown.
- Nope. Preference should not be made.

- Maybe. But it's probably more important to start with Lemmy than which app to use.

  When I first joined Lemmy, it was not easy to find my way around. I left Reddit because they screwed over 3rd party apps, so finding Voyager early on was a blessing. I just want people to be aware that there is an easier way to navigate Lemmy, and they update regularly.
- Boost is best. Only thing that doesn't work great is spoiler markdown, otherwise it's great

What’s the most “mainstream” peertube instance? All I’ve seen is niche gaming stuff. Is there an instance that is more of a youtube replacement?
- Thanks mate! I haven't quite figured out how to use PeerTube yet, but I was able to join Freediverse now.

- Really? I just installed it and all I see is news in French. When I try to add more "platforms", it tells me that I need to choose a platform first, but doesn't give me any options. It's like it just expects me to figure that out on my own. Very unintitive.

  im a big fan of not marketing your product until it can do the things you intend. theyve been spamming loops everywhere for over 6 months.

- If you zoom in on the image, you can see a faint gray square inside of the Lemmy app icon. That means it’s a progressive web app (PWA) on iPhone.
  Open the webpage in Safari > tap share > tap add to Home Screen
- Does the default lemmy web interface support use as a progressive web app?
  
  I think one of the various interface options does, but you can just use one of the multitude of third party apps available as well.

Am I the only one who is bothered by this pic. It looks so fake and photoshopped.
Maybe it’s because my phone has weird contrast settings for accessibility.
Obviously I think whoever made this pic has great intentions and it’ll definitely be good enough for an article banner or something which is what it’s most likely to be used for.

  After reading through this, it wouldn't surprise me if he turned out to be a Russian operative. In particular a Slovakian, no hate to Slavs but he just strikes me as one ya know?
  It all just reads like a disgruntled federal operative letting the popularity get to their head.
