I've always doubted his supposed Peruvian birth.
Where the hell are you going to get marmalade in the middle of the Peruvian jungle?
I think he just says it to make himself sound mysterious.
- I mean, it's listed as his official birth place on his passport and all that, so...
  Though, if it somehow got updated to Columbia instead, I wouldn't be surprised.
  
  Oh I'm not saying he's not pulling off a massive fraud against the UK government and the people of Britain. They've all bought into this Peruvian lie.
  Let me ask you: have you ever heard Paddington speak a single word of Spanish?
