They lit a vinyard/distillery on fire to deal with the undead thriving within. They forgot to secure their path to exit before starting the fire. They barely made it out the gate before the storage tanks blew up. And by "barely made it out" I mean the Barbarian got caught by the blast.
He slammed the basement door closed to prevent the blast from hitting the survivors they they found and rescued. The shock wave knocked everyone prone, except the Barbarian who was launched while still holding the door.
So everyone was fine, the Barbarian even had a hit point left... Until he landed.
One of the party members is also infected with Blue Rot though, he hasn't figure it out yet.
