If he's uninjured then I have to assume this was staged.
- Trump may have a slight injury to his ear.

  When the pops began at 6:13 p.m., Mr. Trump appeared to grab his right ear, which appeared to be bleeding as he left the stage.

  Well that clears it up for me! There's just no way Trump would risk himself like that. This was real.
- Idk about splatter, but how is it that, with all the people behind and around him, not a single one was struck by any of those missed shots? This improbable scene will generate unprecedented donations, as well as armed crackpots who will be going on vendettas.
  The whole thing smacks of theatrics.
- Do the nut bag rights hate him that much already? Pretty safe to assume no Democrat would do that. They don’t attract those types.
  
  As we all know, 0% of Democrats own guns.
- He was shot by a sniper from a rooftop. Not staged

He’s not the president.
- It's a weird American standard where all ex presidents are referred to as president. So the headline isn't wrong.
- From my understanding, the title of president is permanent. The powers are (supposed to be) temporary

Well I think we can all be certain there won't be any huge downwind effects from this 😐
