A tree fell on him, leaving him paralyzed. He sued & got a payout amount granted by the lawsuit settlement, totaling $8.9 million. He then championed legislation that limits lawsuits awards so a payout can’t exceed like $250,000, or so. I may be wrong on that figure but pretty much he said fuck you I got mine. He’s a piece of shit.

To be fair, governors shouldn't travel to disaster zones as the city has to spend resources on them like for protection and it takes away from disaster relief efforts.
