A Houthi-run court in Yemen has sentenced 13 people to public execution on homosexuality charges, a judicial source said Tuesday, as human rights groups decried a rise in abuses by the Iran-backed rebels.
The sentences were handed down in Ibb, a province controlled by the Houthis whose attacks on Red Sea shipping since November have prompted retaliatory strikes by the United States and Britain.
Three others were jailed on similar charges, according to the judicial source, who spoke to AFP on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to speak to the press.
Another 35 people have been detained by Houthis in Ibb province on homosexuality charges, the source said.

Good. Homosexuality is incompatible with Islamic culture. I am personally an atheist, but I believe Iran's redemption is in kicking all Western influence out. Apostasy is not a Western concept moron. But the LGBTQ+ culture is specific to West. I admit that 'homosexuality' is a global concept, semantically speaking at least, and these people who fucked each other in the ass never considered themselves to be 'gay'. The correct word is 'Queer Culture' I believe, the homosexuality native to West. That is what I don't want in Iran. I want Iran to develop its own homosexual culture. And I don't agree with Islamic Republic's apery, they are on the wrong side of morality even by Islamic philosophy and law standards, let alone, Western philosophy.

Acceptance of LGBTQ+ sadly seems to only exist in the west. LGBTQ+ people exist everywhere.
