- It's a bullshit reason. A rapist isn't going to say, "Welp, I'm not legally allowed in there, so no rape for me today."
  
  Ah dang, public bathrooms are the #1 choice for that! It's the bad hygiene and high risk of getting caught of course
- it makes clear the distinction between sex and gender, and wants official operations, including assignments of “intimate” spaces to be based on sex, not gender.

  I suppose I could've said that better. I expected a lot worse, it's milder than I expected
- It also implies that if a cis woman attacked a cis woman they wouldn't be able to do anything about it
- It gags me that they pretend to justify this as "defense of women" when we all know how little they care about the lives and safety of women. Also I guess now transmen will be expected to use the Ladies Room, I'm sure the pearl-clutchers will be delighted with that. And the transwomen should feel incredibly safe using the Men's Room.
