How do I know if I'm not in a coma and none of this is real
What if I'm asleep in a hospital somewhere and I could die any moment they decide to pull the plug?!?!
Jesus why has my mind been giving me existential crisises at night this week?

I watched one (1) show were this was going on, and I think I've concocted a way of telling.
How much David Bowie are you hearing in your day-to-day life?
If you look at a TV screen or turn on the radio, do you hear doctors arguing about how best to treat you?
Have you shot back to the 70's or 80's to work as a cop?

Not necessarily, there are other possible explanations. For example - you may be in suspended animation on a space ship sent to colonise mars.
6 0 ReplyAm I on a King Bazinga colonizing ship or a USSR2 colonizing ship? That determines what I do when I wake up out of suspended animation
4 0 ReplyYou're in an American remake trying to outsmart the source material kinda ship.

Wait, this isn't about 1899, right? Because I can't recall the purpose of the spaceship in 1899 ever being clarified before the show was cancelled.
3 0 ReplyI was shitposting about Life on Mars.

Fantastic show. Though to be fair, it was never quite clear if he was in a coma or just insane.
3 0 ReplyThe follow up series, Ashes to Ashes makes it more clear, but is also a much worse show.
3 0 ReplyOh yeah, I watched an episode of that then wiped it from my memory. Fair enough.
