I don't know hexbear all that well, but a pro-Trump post, even at Biden's expense, is not what I expected. Like I know you guys hate Biden, but I thought you hated Trump too.
In case you're still not sure, this is mocking the guy being wowed by Trumps incredible ability to carry a bunch of pizza boxes at once. We're laughing at how pathetic it is that this is what impresses them.

If it's from here, it's because the MAGAs make themselves into a joke, so nothing needs to be added. Any sort of Trump praise is always tongue in cheek, that's why Hexbear calls him stuff like "Our big wet boy." It's all a big farce, which might seem strange if you're not used to it (from what I understand, Americans don't like mocking politicians, even those they don't like)

I mean like...I'm not really sure how to put it, but like...they'll make fun of them as people, but it will be in a separate room from politics. They don't like implying how absurd their system is while making fun of a politician, they'll just kind of pretend that it is a "bad apple" rather than admit that their system is so nonsensical that people will support the guy who can carry more pizza, rather than supporting people based on actual policy.
Oh, it's like the "sports team politics" thing. They'll mock them as the "inferior team" but won't ever actually analyse what they're saying or why they're saying it, just kind of like wrestlers before a match being like "grrr, you're going down!"
No idea if my ramblings are making any sense here though.
I get what you're saying, rarely will the things burgerlanders say about their politicians be about their actual policies, but instead they'll say stuff like "lol, Trump is a dang cheeto!
" and even the things they supposedly like are things like "Bush is a guy I'd like to have a beer with!" (as a recovering alcoholic, Bush didn't even drink) or "Biden is a serious president guy!". The only exception is saying some generic Democrat is an evil socialist, but even that's not based on anything but feels, because the average Democrat would rather be policy buddies with the "moderate" wing of Republican ghouls like Romney or Liz Cheney rather than support even the tamest of succdem welfare policies like universal healthcare. "America will never be a socialist country" - said by Trump and cheered by

...but to liberals, team absolutely comes first. So e.g. it's not the ACTUAL difference in policies that are being criticized. Rather, it's a whopping big set of ad hominem, with liberals paying no mind to whether the policies of their team are any better (or even measurably different) than the policies of another team. So, basically, donkey worshipers will have decided that Trump is a Republican, and since he's also conveniently very stupid and clownish and easy to make fun of, that's the way they'll ridicule anything and everything he does, while almost literally defending to their dying breath Biden's policies, even if they are essentially the same.
And the same will go for third parties, and often even someone (like Sanders) who doesn't fit the mould of the status quo of their own party. This politician is a bozo, woo-woo crystal lady, that politician is a crazy commie socialst working for Putin (though, TBF, Russiagate is the favorite brush with which to paint all disliked politicians for donkey fans these days...), etc.
But there's definitely a limit. They'll fall back to worshiping the system when things "get serious". Especially when it comes to war, and imperialism in general. Then you've got to "stand by the president, no matter who he is", blah, blah, blah. Vomit inducing.

We have a huge problem with a severely undereducated public thinking they understand politics, even from the mediabrained perspective here in the States. So for the most part, you only get a surface level discourse on social media. The presidential race for 2024 is a popularity contest without any regard to actual policy.
