Went to observe one of those pro-Ukraine rallies today. It looks like fascists are opportunistically using this moment to organize and aggitate among the people who turned out.
More bad news I know, but this should serve as a reminder that all of us (you too dear reader) need to get loud and start building a clear and principled explicitly anti-imperialist anti-war movement--lest we let the far-right grow even more.
The good news is that every communist and socialist organization i know of in my area has, in unison, been putting in work to build this anti-imperialist anti-war position w.r.t calling for unilateral de-escalation, condemning the aggressive posturing of NATO, countering the idea that US has best interests of the working class in any country at heart, etc., etc.

I didn’t go to my city’s protest today but even in the pictures I saw some pretty fashy stuff which is upsetting.
Comments from the :reddit-logo: post were basically defending the fash which is not uncommon, but also trying to twist it into saying they were actually anarchists? Idk it’s wild.
