If presidential immunity is absolute..
  • Trump's lawyers would argue that Biden can order Trump's execution without any punishment, but that it would not cause him to win the next election because the military and other federal officials are not immune and are "obligated" not to follow illegal orders. So basically the argument is that illegal orders are unlikely to be followed.

  • So? There is no way for the vast majority of users to read or understand the source for something like Firefox - to the point it may as well be closed source. Agreed of course plenty of security researchers will be examining the code which they can't with Vivaldi - but presumably if that was a security advantage Firefox would have less vulnerabilities when compared to other browsers. (Actually would be interested to see if this is the case!)

  • Don't even need an app. I got an eSIM via a QR code (which went to a website where the eSIM was downloaded). This was on a Pixel 6. I guess the process may be different on other phones.

  • Is there any possibility that this lawsuit is an attempt to get a favourable (to the republican party) ruling (that Trump can stand) by presenting a poor case and therefore blocking a properly prepared and presented case on the basis that it has already been ruled on?
