There is/was a restaurant that offered IIRC $8/1 bowl, or $11 unlimited bowls (this was ~20 years ago). It was called BD's Mongolian BBQ, the crazy constructions I saw while eating there was ridiculous. Same goes for when we used to have Indian buffets (pre-COVID). I think the most insulting thing was that these were people who based on their dress, and the vehicles parked outside, did not seem to be hurting for money
NOTICE: Warranty VOID if clear protective plastic is removed from cockpit window
...but that's like 78% of why I got one
For me, it was Archer using any, and every, excuse to talk down to T'Pol. I'm not sure who was writing his character, but I would've preferred if they'd gone more towards Picard (TNG) or Pike (SNW), and less Kirk/Sisko. As the first human explorers in that part of space, I would preferred more reverence for what they were accomplishing, and less whining about Vulcans. The other characters were were way more enjoyable to watch
TNG and SNW captains brought/bring a sense of awe with their exploration of the unknown, Archer just seemed like a kid who's parents told him he couldn't have ice cream for dinner
how much the world they know
I heard some of them are able to have South Korean TV shows and movies smuggled in on flash drives. I only know this, because there are also stories of people being caught watching/in possession of the media and being sentenced to prison. Most recently I think 2 teenage boys were given 12 years hard labor
The last time I looked at containers I think it was an add-on, but I don't think (and please correct me if I'm wrong), it filtered or made active the current viewable tabs.
In Opera there's an icon list on the left and depending on which one is selected those are the only tabs displayed, and/or made active. I'll take another look at FF containers.
Someone mentioned 'about:profiles' above, I think that may be closer to what I'm looking for, maybe that combined with containers can reduce my foot print to just Firefox, thanks for the suggestion
That's unfortunate, I was hoping for a 'workspaces' like feature as in Opera. I run FF and Opera simultaneaously to segregate my tabs. It would be really nice if we could get something like that extended to profiles, so I could just run FF

Squirt bottle for (olive) oil. It is a lot more precise than simply pouring oil out of the bottle the oil comes in.

Electric kettle. No fancy features, just a switch to start water boiling, which shuts off once it's at a rolling boil
Multishelf airfryer. It's great for roasting small batches of vegetables (baby carrots, potatoes, cauliflower etc) without the guilt of firing up the big oven. It's also great in the summer because it doesn't heat up my apartment

1.5qt sauce pan. It's great for heating up small batches of soups, bbq beans etc. This is what I used to heat the water for my tea prior to purchasing the electric kettle
I pretty much use all of these on a daily basis
He's just bummed there are no drones flying over New Orleans, this is his only way to get on tv
Ukrainian naval drone pops a russian helo and damages another

Obligatory (there are several versions of this, but this is my favourite 😁 ):
A World War II RAF pilot is reminiscing before school children about his days in the air force.
"In 1942," he says, "the situation was really tough. The Germans had a very strong air force. I remember, " he continues, "one day I was protecting the bombers and suddenly, out of the clouds, these fokkers appeared.
At this point, several of the children giggle.
I looked up, and right above me was one of them. I aimed at him and shot him down. They were swarming. I immediately realized that there was another fokker behind me."
At this instant the girls in the auditorium start to giggle and boys start to laugh. The teacher stands up and says, "I think I should point out that 'Fokker' was the name of the German-Dutch aircraft company"
"That's true," says the pilot, "but these fokkers were flying Messerschmits."
We all believe in you! If you want to take your driving global, do it (just get a go-pro 1st so we can all witness)! 😂 In all seriousness though, I've never been to Canada so I don't have any info to compare, but I've driven extensively in the US. There are really only 3 cities that scare the daylights out of me: Baltimore, Maryland, Houston, Texas, and Dallas, Texas - and that's just highway driving, the suburbs are whole other kettle of fish. If you ever feel bad about your driving just google driving videos from one of those cities
If that's the case, shouldn't your username be @worstdriver@lemmy.ca...or are you thinking about going global?
Bob Rivers is/was always a nice break from the normal holiday music. I haven't listened to FM radio in a while, but when I did they'd always throw in a little Bob Rivers 😀
Oi Mate! You can't park there!
I stopped explaining to people why they were selling their gifts, and where he was dropping her off...After a while, I felt as though I was just ruining something that made people happy.
Same with "Pumped Up Kicks" - although that one, I thought, was pretty self explanatory. I guess people just jam to the beat, and don't pay attention to the lyrics
