Almost certainly. The facial ID is good enough that US customs didn’t even want to see my passport. Just a photo was enough to let me back in the country. I even significantly changed my hair between departure and arrival. Shit is scary.

In all fairness, the rules strongly suggested you lurk for an extended period of time so you don’t get banned. They definitely had some non-traditional rules.

Can you cite the sources for your claim that an outright ban shifts the numbers to a different breed?
For me, it’s mostly indie games and emulation so I think you can get whatever size fits your budget and supplement it with a high capacity micro sd card. i like to do this early and then just install everything on that card. Moving apps to the sd card after the fact sucks hard.
Battery life depends on intensity, but a few hours is reasonable for games. I’ve not watched movies on mine.
As far as gotchas? Not really. It’s a great device and I love mine.

I buy games and consoles but haven’t bought an Ubisoft or EA title in a decade. My own personal little boycott against bullshit required launchers may not matter, but I am consistent. I suspect others do the same as well and in aggregate, it might have an impact.

Im using the latest release of RyuJinx and it plays most games really well.
Big fan of this solution. Switch emulation is also pretty great on the steam deck and gets rid of most of the modern grossness (always on, obtrusive DRM, etc) that comes with playing on they physical device.
