I do prefer Activitypub overall, and it's certainly more mature, but any efforts towards decentralization should be encouraged/celebrated.

I'd perfer for mastodon to take off personally, but really at this point both are good options and worlds better than twitter.
Pretty much same experience here. I had some fun with it as an overwatch replacement for a couple weeks after launch, but it was pretty rough around the edges and the monetization was... yeah.
Not surprised they're killing it already, maybe someday Bandai will give us an actually good Gundam game again. From Software is making more Armored Core in collaboration with Bamco already, I'd love to see them take the IP and do something with it.
