  • Earth will be uninhabitable in a billion or two years yes.

I was responding more so to your original statement:

Earth to be imminently destroyed by it’s dying star

1 billion years the earth may be cooked, but the sun will have 3-5 billion years left before it can't fuse anymore. It's more accurate to say Earth will be destroyed by the natural growth of its own star.

  • In the cyberpunk universe the tech exists that we could all still be alive, I mean look at Rogue, she didn't age a day in 57 years.

But I'm pretty certain I'll be pushing daises by the time the bombs drop

  • Yeah. I think it would have involved nuclear annihilation at some point, and not because of USA vs Russia, but because the USA was pro nationalism-racism-authorotarianism-eugeniscm long before WW2.

Why do you think they happily looked the other way for so many scientists.

  • gestures generally around

But his idea of simulation theory and most of our ideas of simulation theory are not the same.

He thinks it means there are no consequences.

We all know it's means the consequences might be simulated but they still suck.

  • Some how, people don't know this - the courts CAN enforce the law.

They don't even need executive law enforcement to do it. That is the worst most depressing part about all of this. Hell, the supreme court has its own marshalls completely independent of the US Marshalls.

The courts can deputize their own Marshalls as they need. They have this power on purpose. Neglecting to use that power means they are complicit. And that is far scarier to me.

  • I don't think it would just be DC. The people on the East Coast would probably handle that quicker than everyone west of the Mississippi River could get there.

But if either of these two get taken down, any buildings that house Republican HQs or conservative groups are going to have a sudden increase in insurance prices.
