  • I mean if we really want to be technically accurate here, the lithium is just a moderater for the hydrogen isotopes to fuse.

But for me it gets fuzzy when looking at the reaction.

LiD is 4 protons, 8 neutrons. Add a new neutron, and bam, you have 4 protons and 9 neutrons. But that's where it gets weird to me. The lithium needs to decay or something into a tritium and dueterium which forces the tritium to fuse with the existing dueterium in the LiD molecule? Clearly the neutron has enough energy to transfer into one of the atoms to increase the chance of tunneling actually occuring.

  • Well, at least they can see the baby steps that way I guess.

But I've always wondered if I'm actually terrible at my job or if PMPs, Scrum Masters, Management, etc, can't actually fathom that I have absolutely no way to roughly estimate how long something can possibly take that ive never done before, and I have no evidence someone else has done it before.

When I was younger I got so frustrated with it I asked if anyone else on the team wanted to do it instead, and there was a resounding no, but it's feasible so you should keep at it. And eventually I get it working but the whole time it's demoralizing with the amount of "why are you not done?"

And now I just give the exact details that goes straight over everyone's heads anyway and ask if they need me to switch my priorities.

  • Speaking of which, i need to make a trip to the grocery store. Do they still make coke bottles out of glass? Those were awesome. Probably need to get some tape and styrofoam for shipping some stuff. Probably should get a new gas container for my lawnmower.

Do they make any sort of match that works great outdoors? The ones I have always seems to snuff out before they light my fire pit.

  • At some point in the future, someone will understand what I mean by "I haven't had enough time between meeting to read the necessary materials" because I can't learn shit from verbal discussion.

If that ever actually happens, i firmly believe I will get more time to actually do work too.

  • While it would be nice for the media to share, we can't force them. We don't own them. That's why we need to share it. That's why we need to take pictures of the crowds, show evidence that millions show e up.

I think you misunderstand one small part of that powerful military - we're so blended in this country, you can't just bomb rebel strongholds because your own supporters are there too. That may be acceptable in a small part, but then his supporters get pissed off.

We also massively outnumber the military. The Navy can't do much on the inner united states.

If there is one thing any powerful organized military will always struggle to fight against, it's guerilla warfare. Improvised weapons are particularly devastating because they're unpredictable. We've seen how effective the "force multiplier" aspect is in theaters like Iraq and Afghanistan. It's essentially not.
