  • You ever think a post on 196 could save your life?

  • I like her monologues. I love her stand-up. The intensity of her facial expressions is a big part of her comedy, and she doesn't do that on the talk show.

  • That's disturbing, well done.

  • Obviously beetles aren't smart enough to comprehend 5th grade science.

  • I keep an excel spreadsheet of recipes. Every sheet focuses on a single ingredient, either produce or protien. I see what's on sale each week and look for recipes that utilize those ingredients.

  • Either that or make her face rounder. That is one matronly bosom.

  • So, congress.

    Rim shot.

  • Reps vs Dems, as centrists look on.

  • Because Internet - Gretchen McCulloch

Thanks for mentioning this, I've added it to my tbr.

  • I think language is like art. It's ideal to learn the rules then brek them.

  • I can't recommend this show enough, it's amazing.

In episode 11, they showed a woman giving birth. As in, full on, baby coming out of vagina, hands reaching into vagina around it (shoulder was stuck). I'm a 42 year old woman with no children, and I've never actually seen what it's like to give birth before.

  • My guess: he's seen lots of cool stuff on public transport while going to work. So if you blow off work, you might miss a busker doing crowd work.

  • Big Leonid Afremov vibes.

  • There are lots of recipes online for pizzas with different kinds of fruit and meat. Pear with prosciutto and blue cheese is really good.

  • This is why everyone hates moral philosophy professors.

  • It made sense centuries ago. Imagine living a simple peasant life being a dirt farmer or whatever, then entering a building full of stained glass, precious metals, and/or tile mosaics that glow in the sunlight. It would make you feel like you'd entered a divine realm. I mean, it still can, but we get pretty calloused to that stuff after being immersed in modern technology.

  • This is true, but also I will always lick the spoon when making coookies.

  • I just keep a numbered list on the Notion app and Google a random number generator. When I add new books to the list, I put them at the top so it keeps the titles rotating.
