I don't actually think that $90 for a game is ridiculous nowadays, if the game has tons of content.
But a company of Nintendo's size, with their sales volume, selling a game for $90 when it only has a few hours of content? Fuck off
They're like the exact opposite of the spectrum from Minecraft
We could only dream such an ending
My car is probably going to die soon and I'm going to have trouble replacing it with something that actually has physical controls, doesn't have a massive annoying touch screen, doesn't have LED headlights set blinds everybody driving towards me or walking their dogs, isn't a compact crossover bloated to the size of an SUV from 20 years ago, and can fit 8 ft length of raw material in it.
Or rather I'm going to have trouble replacing it with something that I like for a decent price that isn't too old and isn't a van. Not necessarily because vans suck, vans are great. But the good ones are expensive, even used
Same, but I power through anyways
We're a lot less upset now that we see people actually fighting back - the protests, town hall zoos, Teslas spontaneously combusting..
I'm torn between disgust overall and pity and wanting to help. The thing that leans me towards the latter instead of the former is that I can see the right here in Canada trying to follow america's footsteps...
I'm empathetic towards those who voted against this, but disgusted with the country on the whole.
That's not true. The materials used to make those could have gone to something much more productive.
lol. It's only going to get worse. The site used to be the top place to look something up, now it's just going to be full of deleted answers and disappointment.
What does a ban on reddit have to do with lemmy?
Better make sure you keep those kinds of comments to yourself around my partner
Saying stuff not even as direct as that is what got me permanently banned and the reason that I'm here now
Reddit really chose to side with evil
It only takes a handful of people to change that
I was showing a co-op how to do something last year and told them to navigate through our department drive into whatever folder we were looking at.
They couldn't do it. They had somehow managed to get to the department drive in file explorer, but then completely fell apart when I narrated the names of the folders to go down into. Like I'd say "Go into 'desks and tables'" or whatever and I'd watch them drag their cursor past the Ds, past the Es, and then just click on something completely different. Like their brain just stopped working. It took us like 2 minutes to get less than 10 folders deep.
Yep, have used both Google Drive and SharePoint for work. SharePoint is an abomination
I just left it this week after getting banned from a sub without notice and having not broken the rules as far as I can tell, getting no response about why, and then making new accounts that didn't even participate in that sub that kept getting shadowbanned because "my other account broke the rules"
Fuck reddit. They're happy to let r/conservative call for people's deaths, but say "oh no, anyways" on a post about Teslas at a dealership catching fire and all of a sudden you can't use the site ever again with no explanation why.
Fuck reddit. I've been using it for nearly 15 years. I'm done with it.
My only regret is that I won't be able to call out as many stupid people on their bullshit.
