That has got to be the worst choice in legible typesetting I’ve laid eyes on.
Saab Gripen. I believe that’s one of the Swedish camo schemes but can’t be sure and don’t have time for more research RN.
They photoshopped the bow of the Yamato on top of the deflector dish,
This concept should’ve been a slam dunk, and they blew it.
My next game of Cyberpunk on Sunday.
Okay, so I’m not a big fan of the LDS church, but can we talk about how unironically hard that Hornet regalia goes?
My own instance is fairly narrow in scope, and I don't think I can add it here. Is there a way to post a community in another instance?
As far as I remember, Dragon Age has been real time since Origins.
Since Sins 2 just came out today, I hopped on Lemmy and was wondering if anyone else around here plays it, and where you hang out?
“There once was a lady who swallowed a fly…”
I am looking for ways to improve my exploration gameplay in a Theater of the Mind type game where there is no map and no need for detailed environmental descriptions, if that makes sense; I don't want to have to keep track of corridors and turns, and that sort of thing.
Ideally I would like a system or ruleset that allows me to randomly generate interesting exploration gameplay without relying on having to map out everything. Preferably system agnostic so I can use it in various games.
Here's an example of the sort of thing I'm looking for, but would like to see alternatives that are a bit more in depth, or have more options:

I remember the go to strategy being to summon an Alip, an incorporeal undead that can drain strength without needing a save.
Is this the stuff that causes the “impending doom” sensation? That stuff’s weird.
I remember this guy. I cut off his friend’s head and stuck it through a mystic portal.
(EDIT: Referencing the game Amnesia: The Dark Descent)
Psychic Tears - That’s a good band name.
“I once commanded the Enterprise and used a sun to blow up a Borg ship, but they don’t call me Beverly the Borg-killer…”
The DM tools were where it really shined; I’d love a modern game with that kind of support.
Feel like they could’ve souped it up and used it in the role as the Delta Flyer.
The only way that makes sense would be if they were actually sonic bidets. They could have reverse replicator toilets though, that dematerialize the bio waste.
I haven’t seen much of anything about this game; what’s with the radio silence?
Started GMing a Cyberpunk Red campaign, went to the pool, cleaned my bathtub.

I came up with an idea for a flag of an interstellar federation for a Sci Fi project I've got floating around in my head. I don't think anything much will come of it, but I figured I might as well share my flag idea with you guys and see what you think.
The Flag of the Neo-Terran Federation is as follows: A deep blue field with a single black pile in the top quadrant. It has a center charge of a golden Phoenix, in a stylized form similar to Art Deco, the leading edges of its outstretched wings following the lines of the black pile. Beneath the wings of the phoenix are a number of Stars equaling the systems of the Federation.
I would like to know what you think of this design, as well as what you can infer of the federation based on its symbolism; mainly to make sure I got the symbolism correct. If anyone wants to draw and post this, I would be thrilled to see it.
I'm not sure if this is the proper place to ask this, but I don't know where else to go. I'm having trouble reaching the pathfinder.social instance; I can't seem to post, or subscribe to their communities. Is anyone else having issues?
Includes an extended animatic and additional bonus content for First Members.
I have been using Windows my entire life, but since I got my Steam Deck I’ve been considering trying to get into Linux.
I obviously don’t have much of an idea where to begin, other than that I’m currently also trying to learn Javascript. I'd like a basic workstation I can code on and mess with, that doesn't run more than a couple hundred. Could use some recommendations for hardware plus where to begin.
I was wondering if anybody knew of any communities for the tabletop versions of Cyberpunk, specifically Cyberpunk Red.
I am currently trying to learn Javascript and am getting hung up trying to understand Regex. Does anyone have any good resources or recommendations for me?

The controller support is non-existent. I am unsure if that is fixable, though I suspect I might be able to get around it by remapping the Steam Deck controls. Not really a problem though if anybody knows a solution I'd be happy to hear it.
The real issue is that the music is not playing. Sound effects work just fine, so far, but I don't get any music. I suspect it has something to do with Dosbox, given the age of the game in question.

Hello. I’m new to Lemmy and Memmy both, and I had a question regarding its functionality. Is there a way to open a link in Memmy? I have a community I want to join but clicking the link just opens it in my browser, and for whatever reason I can’t find the community in Memmy’s own search bar.
